Brightwork Dental Care

Repairing Damaged Teeth

Why Is Restorative Care So Important?

Restorative dentistry fixes a broken tooth or cavity while it’s still a small issue. This saves you time and money by preventing more complex and expensive dental procedures if left untreated. You’ll also get relief from pain and discomfort, and have full function of your tooth restored.

WHAT TO EXPECT

RESTORATIVE DENTAL CARE APPPOINTMENT

During your restorative appointment, we’ll begin with a brief exam to evaluate the condition of the tooth or teeth that need treatment. If there is more than one option for treatment, we’ll discuss them and then establish a treatment plan to develop your plan of care.

Scheduling Your Next Restorative Visit

Once your Bath dentist has established a treatment plan for your restorative care, we’ll set up your appointments and review all your financing options so you’ll never have any surprises.

FAQs

WHAT ISSUES CAN RESTORATIVE DENTISTRY SOLVE?

Restorative dentistry can save a tooth that has a strong root. It can also replace a missing tooth with a dental bridge, implant, or partial denture. Damage often happens when a cavity goes untreated which leads to severe decay and possible tooth loss. Restorative dentistry lets us fix these issues while they are small, saving you time in the chair and money.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF RESTORATIVE DENTAL PROCEDURES?

Restorative dentistry helps fix an issue while it’s small and prevents more costly treatment options. If you leave a damaged or missing tooth untreated, it could create a much larger issue. Repairing a tooth will also relieve you from any pain and discomfort and give you back the full function of your tooth and restore the appearance of your tooth, too.

DOES MY INSURANCE COVER RESTORATIVE DENTISTRY?

Restorative dentistry can be covered by insurance, but it may not be covered at 100%. Call your dental insurance provider to check your restorative coverage and limitations. Please remember, we are a fee-for-service practice, meaning we aren’t in-network for any dental insurance plans. As a courtesy, we will happily file your claim for you, and your dental coverage will reimburse you directly for any covered treatment.
